Note: The Mini Boremaster 120 is a rotary water drilling which is mainly designed to drill through sand and stone. Occasionally it can be used to drill through harder formations using the core barrel and diamond bit. This machine cannot be compared to a heavy duty truck mounted rig.
It is recommended that when purchasing the MachineTech Mini Boremaster 120 on trailer package, you take note of this set up also of best results.
1. Two vehicles are always taken to site unless a 4 ton truck is used – the reason being is water tanks need to be taken to site for the water drilling sequence
2. The trailer supplied is designed for the borehole machine and accessories namely, A frame , Kelly rod , drill bits, cable .
3. Drill rods need to be transported on the towing vehicle. Ideally a Kia or Hyundai 1.2 ton bakkie is suitable.
4. Overloading of trailer could cause damage to the structure , suspension and tyres.
